The kitchen countertops in this log cabin home were designed to bridge the sleek and modern look of stainless steel with the rustic spirit of the log home.

The countertop is polished and ground to highlight the grain of the concrete and to create a weathered appearance.  The counter also features a small lip to serve as a backsplash.

A precise space is provided for the undermount sink and fixtures.  Set into the concrete, the sink area also features a customized drain board for food preparation or a dish rack.

Edges on the counter tops are softened to provide a smooth and friendly surface for cooking and lounging.
